Little Helpers of Mooresville

Little Helpers of Mooresville is a family volunteer group designed to help young people understand the value of volunteering, recognize the blessings in their lives, broaden their community perspective and feel the sense of accomplishment received from lending a helping hand. The ultimate goal of the program is to raise confident children who see giving back to the community as a normal aspect of their lives. 

Little Helpers of Mooresville plans monthly community service events that are for children 5th grade and under. Parents must accompany their children and be responsible for them during the entire event. Please RSVP on this page under each monthly event.

Kids for Kindness

Kids for Kindness was originally formed by some moms in the Lake Norman suburbs of Charlotte who wanted to find ways to start teaching their young children about the importance of giving back and helping others through random acts of kindness and community service activities.  The group has since grown to include a South Charlotte chapter as well as after-school clubs at local elementary schools!  The group’s original goal of facilitating these activities for their own children has grown.  The excitement around this idea in the community has inspired them to support the growth that excitement has brought.  We can’t wait to see what’s next for Kids for Kindness in our community and beyond!
