Net Generation Tennis in Schools

Volunteer Training
(NO TENNIS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!)

Friday January 5, 5:30pm-7pm @ Charlotte Racquet Club North

Lake Norman Tennis Association Tennis in Schools Committee invites you to a Volunteer Training and Fun Hands-On Net Generation Demonstration!

We are really excited about the USTA's new program and equally excited to be offering you a "one stop training" to get you registered, Safe Play screened and trained to participate with us in offering tennis to a whole new generation of kids!

Our Tennis in Schools program will run in the first half of 2018 with 5 schools participating throughout the LNTA region. The plan is to offer 4 - 6 weeks of introductory tennis instruction during PE or After School, followed by a Team Challenge Event, Try Tennis Juniors offerings, an L6 Introductory tournament and Summer Camp opportunities.

Our goal with this training is to give you all the tools you need to help us introduce tennis to elementary aged school children in their schools. You can volunteer with us on days that suit your schedule throughout our program.

Available to high school aged students that are good with kids and looking for some community service hours.

Contact Amy Brandon at ctc@lnta.org if you would like to participate in our volunteer training Friday January 5.
